What is Surrogacy
Gestational surrogacy is the process whereby a woman – the gestational surrogate – consents to an embryo transfer process, otherwise called an IVF Procedure. In this process, an embryo (or plural embryos) deriving from the couple obtaining the surrogacy service is implanted in the surrogate. If and when the procedure is successful, the surrogate becomes impregnated with the child of the couple (the supposed parents). The amount of engagement with the surrogate thereafter is absolutely up to the intended parents – typically, the couple is associated with the initial IVF treatments, as well as being present at the moment of birth of their child. They then assume responsibility for the child post-delivery and make the long term move to legal parenthood.
The process starts by choosing a surrogate mother for your embryo and IVF procedure
Afterward we sit down together with you and adjust costs across a number of realms including, but not limited to medical, alimentary, accommodations, legal fees, transport etc.
Reliable, safe and innovative medical recommendations for the IVF procedure.
Reliable, safe and thorough care and attention during medical visits supervising the pregnancy.
Legal aid with regards to the nationality of your son or daughter, as well as formal adoption procedures and assuming legal responsibility of the child after the surrogate has given birth
What is IVF
IVF is something women choose opt for when they are having problems with infertility. The conventional IVF involves the removal of the human oocytes from the ovaries and the fertilization process, accomplished by “letting" motile spermatozoa to fertilize the oocytes into a special culture medium. Which means that once embryos are created, they are moved in to the uterine cavity through a process called Embryo Transfer. IVF can be used to mimic the biological functions, in vivo.
IVF is utilized for women who have blocked or harmed fallopian tubes, thus stopping the egg and sperm from meeting naturally. IVF also may help you and your spouse if your infertility is unexplained and/or the male spouse has a minimal sperm count. Other factors like mature age endometriosis, immunology, excess weight and mindset may lead a couple to infertility. IVF could be the option for you if these factors enter into play during this stressful time in your lives.
Step 1: Follicular Development and Monitoring
During a woman"s normal menstrual cycle, LH and FSH are the hormones that the body uses to induce development and maturation of an individual oocyte. To be able to optimize your pregnancy rates during IVF, it"s important to severa tmature oocyte for fertilization, embryo development and transfer into the uterus. The ovaries are therefore activated using higher amounts of the stimulating hormone that normally exist within you. This is achieved using Gonadotrophin injections. A number of stimulation regimes can be found at this time, and the physician chooses the one suitable to your biological system, in order to achieve a great number of high quality oocytes. Close monitoring of the follicles (the sacs that contain the growing oocytes in the ovaries) is required and it is achieved with consistent ultra-sound in order to find out their size and their numbers . At the correct timing, an additional amount of hormones will be administered, aiding with the final maturation of the oocytes. Predicated by all the available responses and laboratory findings, the best time for the recovery will be identified.
Step 2: Oocyte Recovery
This is the procedure by which the doctor gathers the oocytes of the womain’s body, a procedure needing anesthesia. A little needle enters the upper portion of the vagina, through the direction of the ultrasound, into the ovary"s follicles. The substance that is aspirated will then be studied in the laboratory, where the oocytes will be identified and moved into culture media in an incubator at 37oC to continue the maturation process for several more hours.
Step 3: Fertilization of OOCYTS
In this stage, your partner will have to give his test of sperm on the day of the oocyte recovery which will be maintained until needed). His sperm will be carefully prepared with a special process and the healthy spermatozoa separately. There are around 100,000 motile spermatozoa added per oocyte, with 4-6 hours after oocyte recovery. This is for the fertilization to take place within the following 12-18 hours in the incubator. The insemination process will lead to the fertilization of the oocytes, and ensuing embryos are transferred to different culture media to be viewed closely over the next 48 hours.
Step 4: Embryo Transfer
Good quality embryos are chosen and are moved through the neck of the womb using a little catheter based on their rate of progress and morphology. The number of embryos that"ll be transferred is set based on the age and medical history of the potential mother; alongside the number and quality of the embryos which have been released during each remedy cycle. For each couple, there is a possibility of experiencing several child. Embryo transfer is a pain-free process, much like having a cervical smear, and fortunately takes just a few minutes. Once the job has been completed, we highly recommend a short resting period in the recovery room. The day after, oocyte retrieval progesterone and other supplements will be given to ensure that the lining of the uterus receives sufficient activation and sustains the implantation of the embryos. Quantitative pregnancy tests with blood also needs to be svheduled 12-14 days after embryo transfer.
We offer 24/7 support to every surrogate, expecting parent and egg donor. Our case specialists and support staff are available for any emergency and for time or psychologically sensitive situation.
