What is Surrogacy
Gestational surrogacy is the process whereby a woman – the gestational surrogate – consents to a embryo copy process, otherwise called an IVF Procedure. In this procedure, an embryo (or plural embryos) deriving from the couple acquiring the surrogacy service is implanted in the surrogate. If the procedure is successful, the surrogate becomes impregnated with the child of the couple (the planned parents). The amount of engagement with the surrogate thereafter is completely up to the intended parents – typically, the couple is involved with the initial IVF treatments, and being present at the moment of birth of their child. They then take responsibility for the child post-delivery and make the permanent change to legal parenthood.
The process begins by selecting a surrogate mother for your embryo and IVF procedure
Afterward we sit down with you and adjust costs across a variety of realms including, but not limited to medical, alimentary, accommodations, legal fees, transportation and so forth.
Reliable, safe and innovative medical guidelines for the IVF procedure.
Reliable, safe and thorough care during medical visits supervising the pregnancy.
Legal aid with respect to the nationality of your child, as well as formal adoption procedures and assuming responsibility of the baby once the surrogate has given birth
What is IVF
IVF is an option women choose to undergo when they are experiencing difficulties with infertility. The conventional IVF involves removing the human oocytes from the ovaries and the fertilization process, accomplished by “letting" motile spermatozoa to fertilize the oocytes into a particular culture medium. This means that once embryos are formed, they are transferred into the uterine cavity through an activity called Embryo Transfer. IVF is utilized to mimic the biological processes, in vivo.
IVF can be used for women who have blocked or harmed fallopian tubes, thus stopping the egg and sperm from meeting naturally. IVF may also help you as well as your spouse if your infertility is unexplained and/or the male spouse has a minimal sperm count. Other factors like mature age endometriosis, immunology, being overweight and mindset may lead people to infertility. IVF could be the treatment for you if these factors enter into play at this stressful time in your lives.
Step 1: Follicular Development and Monitoring
During a woman"s normal menstrual cycle, LH and FSH will be the hormones that the body uses to activate development and maturation of a single oocyte. To be able to optimize your pregnancy rates during IVF, it is important to severa tmature oocyte available for fertilization, embryo development and transfer into the uterus. The ovaries are therefore stimulated using higher levels of the stimulating hormone that normally exist in your body. This is achieved using Gonadotrophin injections. A variety of stimulation regimes are present at this time, and the doctor chooses the main one best suited to your biological system, to be able to achieve a good number of high quality oocytes. Close monitoring of the follicles (the sacs that contain the growing oocytes in the ovaries) is necessary and is achieved with recurrent ultra-sound to be able to determine their size and their numbers . At the appropriate timing, an additional amount of hormones will be administered, aiding with the final maturation of the oocytes. Based on all the available responses and laboratory findings, the best time for the restoration will be determined.
Step 2: Oocyte Recovery
This is the actual procedure where the doctor gathers the oocytes of the womain’s body, a procedure needing anesthesia. A small needle enters the upper portion of the vagina, through the guidance of the ultrasound, into the ovary"s follicles. The fluid that is aspirated will be studied in the lab, where the oocytes will be reviewed and transferred into culture media in an incubator at 37oC to continue the maturation process for a few more hours.
Step 3: Fertilization of OOCYTS
In this stage, your partner will have to give his sample of sperm on the day of the oocyte restoration which will be preserved until needed). His sperm will be carefully prepared with a particular procedure and the healthy spermatozoa separately. There are around 100,000 motile spermatozoa added per oocyte, with 4-6 hours after oocyte restoration. This is for the fertilization to take place within the next 12-18 hours in the incubator. The insemination process will lead to the fertilization of the oocytes, and resulting embryos are transferred to different culture media to be viewed closely over the next 48 hours.
Step 4: Embryo Transfer
Top quality embryos are chosen and are transferred through the neck of the womb using a little catheter on the basis of their rate of development and morphology. The amount of embryos that will be transferred is decided according to the age and medical history of the potential mother; alongside the number and quality of the embryos that have been released during each therapy cycle. For every couple, there"s a possibility of having more than one child. Embryo transfer is a pain-free procedure, much like having a cervical smear, and thankfully takes only a few minutes. Once the task has been completed, we highly recommend a brief resting period in the recovery room. The day after, oocyte retrieval progesterone and other supplements will be prescribed to ensure that the lining of the uterus receives sufficient stimulation and sustains the implantation of the embryos. Quantitative pregnancy tests with blood also needs to be done 12-14 days after embryo transfer.
